David has 21 years of investment industry experience in various marketing, product and strategy roles. Prior to Canoe he was at Mackenzie Investments where he led a Marketing Strategy and Planning team, overseeing marketing strategy for various equity, fixed income, ETF and managed solutions. Prior to that he led the Product Marketing team at Dynamic Funds, where he was a lead of the award winning Volatunity campaign. David began his career at Franklin Templeton Investments, starting in Client Services and progressing into the marketing department where he was responsible for all product and marketing initiatives for the Templeton and Mutual Series brands.
David holds a B.Comm from Laurentian University with majors in Finance and Marketing, and has earned his CSC and CPM.
